License Key Format

All LTC Labs license keys follow this format:

PRODUCT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-CHKS
  • PRODUCT - First 6 letters of the product name (YOINKI, STACKT, BRANCH)
  • XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX - Unique identifier segments
  • CHKS - 4-character checksum for validation

Activating Your License

First-Time Activation

  1. Launch the app

    Open the product after installation

  2. Enter license key

    Copy the key from your purchase email and paste it into the activation dialog

  3. Click "Activate"

    The app will validate the key with our servers

  4. Confirmation

    You'll see a success message and the app will unlock all features

Internet Required

Activation requires an internet connection. After activation, most products work offline.

Device Limits

Each license can be activated on up to 3 devices simultaneously.

What counts as a device?

  • One Windows PC = 1 device
  • One Mac = 1 device
  • Virtual machines count as separate devices
  • Reinstalling on the same computer doesn't use a new activation

Deactivating Devices

If you need to move a license to a new device:

  1. Open the app on the old device
  2. Go to Help → License Management
  3. Click "Deactivate This Device"
  4. The activation slot is now free for a new device

Lost Access to Old Device?

Contact support at support@ltclabs.dev with your license key and we'll manually deactivate old devices.

Managing Licenses Online

Visit your account portal to manage all licenses:

Go to Account Portal

What you can do:

  • View all your purchased products
  • See which devices are activated
  • Remotely deactivate devices
  • Download latest installers
  • View purchase history and invoices

Troubleshooting Activation Issues

"Invalid License Key"

  • • Double-check you copied the entire key (including dashes)
  • • Make sure you're using the key for the correct product
  • • Check for extra spaces at the beginning/end

"Maximum Activations Reached"

  • • You have 3 devices already activated
  • • Deactivate an old device from the account portal
  • • Or contact support to reset activations

"Cannot Connect to Activation Server"

  • • Check your internet connection
  • • Disable VPN temporarily
  • • Check firewall isn't blocking the app
  • • Try again in a few minutes

All LTC Labs licenses include commercial use rights at no extra cost.

  • Use products for business/company work
  • No per-seat licensing - one license per user
  • Volume discounts available for 10+ licenses (contact sales)
