Installation Guide

Step-by-step instructions for installing LTC Labs products on your system.

Windows Installation

Download the Installer

1. Visit the product page for your desired tool
2. Click the "Download" button to get the latest .msi installer
3. Save the file to your Downloads folder

Run the Installer

1. Locate the downloaded .msi file in your Downloads folder
2. Double-click the file to launch the installer
3. If prompted by Windows Defender, click "More info" → "Run anyway"
4. Follow the installation wizard:
   • • Accept the license agreement
   • • Choose installation directory (default is C:\Program Files\LTC Labs\ProductName)
   • • Select whether to create desktop shortcuts
   • • Click "Install"
5. Wait for installation to complete (usually 30-60 seconds)
6. Click "Finish" to exit the installer

First Launch

1. Find the app in your Start Menu under "LTC Labs"
2. Click to launch for the first time
3. The app may request administrator privileges (for USB/hardware access)
4. Enter your license key if you purchased a paid product

macOS Installation

Download the DMG

1. Visit the product page for your desired tool
2. Click the "Download for macOS" button
3. Save the .dmg file to your Downloads folder

Install from DMG

1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
2. A window will appear with the app icon and Applications folder
3. Drag the app icon into the Applications folder
4. Wait for the copy to complete
5. Eject the DMG from Finder

First Launch

1. Open Finder → Applications
2. Find the LTC Labs app
3. Right-click → "Open" (first time only to bypass Gatekeeper)
4. Click "Open" in the security dialog
5. Enter your license key if applicable

Linux Installation

Using AppImage

# Download the AppImage
wget https://ltclabs.dev/downloads/product-name.AppImage

# Make it executable
chmod +x product-name.AppImage

# Run it
./product-name.AppImage

Silent Installation (IT Admins)

For deploying to multiple machines via GPO or management tools:

Windows (MSI)

msiexec /i ProductName.msi /qn /norestart INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\LTC Labs\ProductName"

Pre-configure License Key

msiexec /i ProductName.msi /qn LICENSE_KEY="PRODUCT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-CHKS"

Uninstallation

Windows

• Settings → Apps → Apps & features
• Search for the LTC Labs product
• Click "Uninstall"
• Follow the uninstall wizard

macOS

• Open Finder → Applications
• Find the LTC Labs app
• Drag to Trash (or right-click → Move to Trash)
• Empty Trash to complete removal
